This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've got a few Flash files on my page if you want to check them out.
Some tips from me, I wouldn't make any page larger then 800X600 and kick the frames per second from the default 12 to 30 if you plan to have any animation.
Do as little as possible on the main timeline i.e. create separate movie clips for EVERYTHING if possible because editing your final creation will be much easier when you break down each action/event into different clips. It also makes placement in the scene much easier. To get placement just "perfect" drop the movie clip on the scene and then right click and choose "Edit in place"
Reuse your symbols/movie clips/graphics/ anytime you can since you can have multiple versions of them in your movie but they only count once for download i.e. my button swf file is only 32kb (10kb being the car photo) and that's because what you see except the text is the same button for each group of different buttons!
Here are some links to help you figure out some of the fancier things you can do with Flash.

This site has TONS of tutorials/movies/sounds to download and should be very helpful.

I always liked "The Scream" personally and felt it kind of matched your "artmeetslife" name

I have more links but the ones I've listed you could spend years looking at so I won't overwhelm you with others for now.
If you have any questions or are confused about how to do something drop me a line and I'd be glad to help out
